Electronics and technical talk

So this weeks session, as the title suggests, was mainly about the electronics and other technical things to do with the robot eg how to mount the wheel motors and how to attached the flail motor. Notice a pattern...
Part of the team worked on getting the main electronics connected and workin. unlike Team Narnia are electronics worked fine, only taken a few seconds to start up, as against there 4 mins.

Other members of the team looked at and discussed how best to connect or motors to the wheels and how best to motorise the flail, chain drive or direct drive.
With regards to the work on the robot, the frame/ chasis (whatever you want to call it) is almost complete, just deciding on how and where to mount the casters before the final bits are put on. Once thats done work on mounting the rear wheels will begin along with the mounting of the flail and its motor (if we've decided how to do it)
I'M PLEASED TO REPORT THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE TO THE TEAM NAME! it looks like we're gunna be sticking with The Hitchhikers
